Usually, people just roll their eyes and dismiss Joe "the plagiarist" Biden's egregious misstatements of the facts and tone-deaf blunders as him simply being the oblivious habitual gaffe machine we've all been warned about (see here, here, here, here and here).
But his recent attempts to take credit for the success of the war in Iraq enter into a whole new level of brazen partisan dishonesty that now must be addressed.
This latest outrageously false claim is based on the left's trademark fallacy of causation. In debate, it is called, "cum hoc, ergo propter hoc." It means if two things happened at once, then one must have caused the other.
